Speaker Biography: 

Andrew Thies is an Associate Water Resources Designer for Rick Engineering Company’s San Diego office. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University. He has been an integral part of multiple drainage master plans within the County of San Diego including Upper Chollas Creek Watershed Master Plan, Lower Chollas Creek Watershed Master Plan, and the City of San Marcos Drainage Master Plan. He has experience across a wide range of water resources projects, including flood control improvement projects, FEMA map revisions, drainage design projects and design of structural Best Management Practices.  


Eric Mosolgo is a Senior Civil Engineer with the City of San Diego’s Storm Water Division. He is leading efforts to develop the City’s Watershed Master Plan as well as the City’s Offsite Alternative Compliance Program. Eric is a Professional Engineer and earned his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
