TOPIC: Flood Protection Measures at SDSU Research Foundation
SPEAKER: Erik Elson San Diego State University Research Foundation with Stephen Harris from FloodBreak The San Diego State University (SDSU) Research Foundation is located at the foot of the hill supporting most of the SDSU Campus. Drainage from a nearby creek has been problematic during heavy rains near the buildings and has led to flooding several times in the past years. FloodBreak Barriers are currently protecting an underground parking area and multiple pedestrian entrances for one of the buildings. A presentation will be provided by representatives from SDSU Research Foundation and FloodBreak.
