FMA Emerging Professionals Committee
The Emerging Professionals Committee of Floodplain Management Association (FMA) is a group focused on providing resources, opportunities, and innovative space to young professionals seeking to contribute to the floodplain management community.
This is a group of floodplain professionals, who are generally early to mid career contributors, who want to develop and share leadership skills, educational opportunities, professional networks, and helpful resources with people throughout our industry.
The goal of the group is to provide an engaging and open space for learning and contribution to our community and industry, by providing leadership training, engineering outreach with students, and educating people impacted by water (via flooding, water
distribution, climate change, etc).
